AI for physio, S&C and rehab clinics

Make your AI think like a practitioner

Most of a clinic's know-how sits with one or two senior people. We set up AI that drafts your handouts, recovery guides and clinic documents from material your team has already signed off, so senior staff review instead of write.

Who it's for

Two kinds of clinic

Smaller clinics

Short on staff

You want to hand off handouts, guides and social posts without losing the quality, or the know-how behind them.

Larger clinics

Lots of staff, one standard

You want every clinician prescribing the same way. Your exercise library gets one naming system and one set of instructions, so patients get consistent advice whoever they see.

Products

Second Brain

Your clinic's approved papers, protocols and testing philosophy in one linked library, structured around how you work. Your AI drafts from it and points to the source behind each claim.

  • Folder structure and rules file set up in Obsidian
  • Skills to add any source (papers, PDFs, webinar or lecture notes), find free PDFs and check claims, so it stays accurate as it grows
  • A test set with known answers, to check it still answers correctly after every change
  • A written guide so you can keep it up to date

Exercise bank & naming framework

Your clinic's exercise library, renamed and tagged to one consistent system, ready to import into the software you already use.

  • Names and tags adapted to how your clinic works
  • A file your exercise app or software can import
  • The naming framework, so staff add new exercises the same way
  • Price depends on how much of the bank you need adapted

Clinic drafting skills

Skills that turn your clinic's knowledge and test data into finished documents, such as return-to-sport reports, evidence briefs and CPD reflections. We're testing them in our own work first.

What you'll need

A Claude plan for each user (we recommend Claude Team) and the free Obsidian app. A team vault also needs Obsidian Sync for each user ($4–5 a month) or a shared cloud folder you already have. You pay for these directly, and we help you set them up.

Doing it yourself

What would it cost to build alone?

This system took more than 30 hours of hands-on work to build and test. Learning and setting it up from scratch takes an estimated 30–50 hours. What would that cost your clinic at your own hourly rate?

£1,800–£3,000 of your time for 30–50 hours, before any patients are seen in that time

Our mission

Train your AI like you train your staff

We started by building AI for our own coaching practice, so it would answer from peer-reviewed research and push back on our ideas instead of offering up a general opinion it couldn't support. In our industry, clinicians hold their work to a high evidence standard, but the AI they use rarely meets it. We help you close that gap by upskilling your AI the way you'd develop a new member of staff. It's built around your clinic's core beliefs and systems, set up and run by your team, so the resources, answers and ideas it produces start from how your clinic works, and your team can check where each one came from.

How we work

AI drafts, the practitioner decides

Programmes, cues and test choices are clinical decisions. AI does the repetitive work, and a person signs off what reaches an athlete or patient.

Every claim has a source

Figures, definitions and protocol steps are checked against the original paper. Anything unconfirmed is flagged.

Measure whether it works

A test set with known answers shows whether a change actually helped.

Yours, with no patient data

Your clinic owns its vault, content and skills. Patient details never go in: the vault holds approved papers, protocols and your own methods.

Getting started

How a project runs

Estimated times. The pace depends on how quickly your team can do its part.

  1. Kickoff call

Your goals and how to structure the vault. Week 1.

  2. Your set-up checklist

Install the apps, start your Claude plan, and gather your first documents, using our written guide.

  3. We build

The vault structure and its rules, around how your clinic works.

  4. Add documents together

A live session where your team adds its first documents. Week 2–3.

  5. Start using it

First real questions and drafts from your vault, then handover and support. Week 3–4.

Founder

Ben O'Connor

Ben works in a long-term athlete development setting, so most of his day is spent coaching, not at his desk. He turned to AI to make resources for his clients faster in the little admin time he had, but found it couldn't reason clearly or back its answers with the evidence his practice depends on. So he upskilled it, training it on peer-reviewed research and his own methods. That work became Sourced Clinic, and the same approach now helps clinics. We've built AI tools for school S&C programmes, physiotherapy clinics and private practitioners, and we teach others how to build their AI's skill set to keep up with their demands.

Questions

Before you book

About the AI
Will this replace my staff?

No. We see AI as a tool for the smaller, repetitive jobs: drafting handouts, checking a guide against the research, pulling together a protocol. It makes those quicker and better sourced, so your team spends less time at a computer and more time coaching and with patients and athletes. A clinician still checks anything before it reaches a patient.

How accurate is it?

Each claim is checked against the original source, and anything it can't confirm is flagged. Every vault also comes with a test set of questions with known answers, so you can check it still answers correctly after you add or change anything. It isn't perfect, so your team still reviews what it writes, and you can always see where an answer came from.

Why not just use ChatGPT?

General chatbots answer from general knowledge and can't show you their sources. Your set-up works from your clinic's own approved papers, protocols and methods, and writes in your clinic's voice.

Could we set this up ourselves?

Yes. The tools are public. Expect 30–50 hours to learn it, build it and test it, plus time fixing the errors you only find by testing. What you pay for is that time back, a set-up that's already been tested, and your team trained to run it. Use the calculator above to see what those hours would cost your clinic.

Data and ownership
Does any patient data go in?

No. The library only holds approved papers, protocols and your own methods. Patient details never go in.

Do we need to tell patients?

Yes, it's good practice. The CSP and BASRaT both say patients should know when AI contributes to their care. A short line in your patient information is usually enough, e.g. that some handouts are drafted with AI and always checked by a clinician. We cover this in training and can help you word it.

Who owns it?

Your clinic owns its library, content and skills. You can use them anywhere in your clinic, but sharing them outside the clinic needs written consent.

What happens when staff leave?

The library stays with the clinic: its documents, skills and set-up. The knowledge sits in the library, not in one person's head. What a leaving staff member can keep, and how their logins are handled, follows your clinic's own HR policies.

Practical
What do we need?

A Claude plan for each person who uses it, plus the free Obsidian app. We help you set both up.

  • Claude Team (recommended): $25 per person a month, or $20 billed yearly, plus tax. Minimum 2 people. Anthropic doesn't train its models on Team content.
  • Working on your own? Claude Pro ($20 a month) works too. We'll show you how to switch off training on your content.
  • Team vault: each person also needs Obsidian Sync ($5 a month, or $4 billed yearly), or the vault can sit in a shared Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox folder you already have.

Even if you never work with us, we'd recommend one of these plans for any clinic using Claude. Plans are paid to Anthropic, not to us. Prices change, so check claude.com/pricing.

How long does it take?

Usually 3–4 weeks from the kickoff call to the first real drafts. The pace depends on how quickly your team adds its documents.

How much work is it for our team?

It depends on how many documents you have and how organised they are. The AI does most of the work. In our own library, adding papers in a batch took about a minute each, and a 15-chapter textbook took under an hour. Your team's time goes on gathering the files and checking what's been added.

What support do we get afterwards?

30 days of support. After that, £85 an hour with a 1-hour minimum, or a monthly support plan.
